THE IMPOSSIBLE — As human beings we love to push the envelope and see how far we can take our bodies and find out what we’re capable of. We’ve tried impossible things and conquered them, like the 4-minute mile, running across the United States or swimming the English Channel.

Well, former British gymnast Damien Walters decided he wanted to be the first person to pull off a human loop the loop.

It’s exactly what it sounds like, run as fast as you can and try to complete a loop to loop with nothing more than your legs and a hefty amount of will.

Walters teamed up with Pepsi Max and went for it.

As you watch the video there’s a small part in your brain that thinks, “I could do this. Well, maybe not.” Then you hear the mathematician of the group explain he only needs to go a little over 8 mph to complete the loop and you think to yourself again, “Oh, yeah. I could do it.”

Then, you watch Walters, who is basically in the shape of a healthy cheetah, struggle and you’re reminded of your fragile and weak state and you say to yourself, “Never mind. He’s going to die.”

Walters doesn’t die, but he does do the impossible and it’s pretty awesome to watch. Take a look.
