(KSL News) Among President Monson's first acts as president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be to dedicate the newly built Rexburg Idaho Temple.
The temple will be dedicated next Sunday, Feb. 10. During today's press conference, President Monson announced he will be attending with his newly called first counselor, President Henry B. Eyring.
President Eyring once served as president of Ricks College, located in Rexburg, from 1971 to 1977. The new temple is built adjacent to the college, which is now called BYU-Idaho.
