LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Logan city planners are getting some ideas from local university students.
About 150 students from Utah State University have been tasked with redesigning the city to address issues like traffic congestion and public art.
Student teams have completed their initial research and formulated plans, which they will present to city officials later this month. In May, Logan will hire a planning consultant to review the students' ideas and incorporate them into a community study.
This is the fifth time the students' professors have organized a city planning project like this, but the first time Logan has been the focus.
