(KSL News) A 2-year-old who fell out of a three-story window today is in good condition.
Police tell The Salt Lake Tribune the boy's mother had bought new furniture and pushed a chair against a wall in her apartment near 2000 South and 200 East in Salt Lake City. The boy climbed onto the chair then fell out the window.
Officers say he tried to grab curtains on the way out. He dropped about 35 feet and nearly landed standing up.
The boy was conscious. He went to the hospital in serious condition and has been upgraded since.
