(KSL News) A prison inmate accused of attempting to hire a hit man says he's innocent.

Karl Otterson is charged with criminal solicitation for allegedly offering a fellow inmate 55-hundred dollars to kill Utah County Attorney Dave Strugill. Strugill prosecuted Otterson on multiple charges of child sex abuse.

Otterson pleaded not guilty yesterday, to the new charges.
