(KSL News) Police are investigating what appears to be an attempted murder-suicide.
A 71-year-old St. George woman -- bleeding from the face -- ran from her home, crying that her husband was trying to kill her.
Police say she stumbed into a nearby gas station with zip tie fastener around her neck. She says her husband had been holding her against her will for hours and she escaped when he became unconscious.
At the house, police found a car running inside the garage. Lethal carbon monoxide was filling the home through an open door. The husband was passed out with a zip tie around his neck.
