NORTHERN UTAH -- Snowbird is extending its ski season through Father's Day weekend as a thank you to diehard skiers and fathers who want one last run.
Limited, expert skiing from Hidden Peak will be offered Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., extending the ski season to 189 total days.
The Little Cottonwood Canyon resort will kick off summer activities on Saturday, along with the Brewfest, free live music and a special Father's Day brunch on Sunday.
Only full-day tickets will be offered the weekend extension for a reduced price of $49.
