SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A piece of Salt Lake City history is now up for sale.
The city is selling the Hansen Planetarium Building. The historic building was built back in 1905. At first, it was the Salt Lake City Public Library. In 1965, it became the planetarium until it moved to The Gateway in 2003.
The building has been empty ever since. City officials are hoping to find someone to either buy or lease it --- but NOT tear it down.
The city is now seeking proposals until April 12th.
