State: Utah employment rate dropped to 2.9 percent in April

Utah's unemployment rate has dropped, with state officials saying April's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 2.9 percent was down from 3 percent in March.

A Wyoming man who crashed his snowmobile in Sevier Country and was suffering from chest pain was rescued from Monroe Mountain near Magleby Reservoir on Sunday. The weather forced the Sevier County Sheriff's Office to carry the operation in stages.
