CEDAR CITY — Four men were arrested early Wednesday following a traffic stop in Cedar City, during which police say they found nitrous oxide and marijuana inside their vehicle.

Cedar City Police Sgt. Justin Ludlow said the incident began shortly before midnight on Tuesday, when Cedar City police officer Clinton Andersen followed a northbound car with Pennsylvania license plates off I-15 at the south end of town.

"The light was red, but you can make that right turn," Ludlow said. "But they just sat there for a long period of time in that car."

Ludlow said Andersen had a dispatcher check the car's insurance and registration, and learned that it did not have valid insurance. The officer then pulled the driver over near the intersection of Main Street and Old Highway 91.
