PROVO — A Pizza Hut employee was robbed Friday morning while walking to the bank to deposit the previous night's revenue.

The employee was walking to the Wells Fargo with the night deposit cash when a male suspect approached the employee with a knife. After taking the money, the suspect ran southbound through the Riviera Apartments. Provo Police arrived a few minutes after the victim's call, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The victim described the suspect as approximately 5'10 with a thin build. The suspect had wrapped a blue shirt around his head and was wearing sunglasses.

Provo Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information regarding this crime to contact them at 801-852-6210 or to contact Detective Morgan at 801-852-7292.
