(KSL News) Intermountain Healthcare wants to help train Utah doctors and other health care professionals to better care for patients with HIV and AIDS.
To that end the company has donated one hundred thousand dollars to the Utah AIDS Education and Training Center.
The money is being given in the honor of University of Utah School of Medicine professor Kristen Ries for her work with patients with the illness.
The Center has been at work in the state for 20 years -- operating on money from federal grants.
