VANCOUVER -- One of the highlights of the Winter Games for spectators is a zip line that runs over downtown Vancouver. It's free to the public, and you get a bird's eye view of the city.

Get the point of view of a skeleton rider heading down the Whistler track in Vancouver.Noelle Pikus-Pace competes in the skeleton Feb. 20, and before she got in game mode, she wanted to enjoy the Olympic experience and soak it all in. So she took flight.
The zip line runs between two tall podiums from one end of Robson Square to another. Expect up to a four hour wait if you want to give it a try, and you can't be afraid heights or speed.
Those requirements were no problem for Noelle Pikus-Pace.
Noelle and her husband Janson harnessed up and gave the zip line a go. Up several flights of stairs, the two made it to the top, ready to take flight.

Noelle Pikus-Pace talks about the accident that kept her out of the 2006 Torino Olympics.It's comparable to the skeleton, if you ask Noelle. And like any true athlete, even this was a competition between the two.
"I think I won the skill. He did beat me down, who won? It was me, right?" Noelle said with a laugh.
Janson went down the zip line with a camera and got some pretty good shots of Noelle flipping upside down. Watch the video above.
Now Noelle is focusing on her race. She competes this week.
