MAGNA -- A woman and a 5-year-old girl were hit and critically injured by a mail truck on state Road 201 near Magna Friday night.
The accident happened when the Chevy Tahoe they were in turned in front of the mail truck and was T-boned. An infant was also in the Tahoe at the time but was not injured.
"The Tahoe did not have the right of way, and we really don't know why the Tahoe turned in front of the truck like it did," said Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Larry Mower.
The driver of the mail truck is also unhurt.
