BINGHAM -- A fallen Sheriff's deputy received a proper memorial Monday; 96 years after his death.

Salt Lake County Deputy James D. Hulsey was shot and killed in 1913 by a man who was responsible for five other deaths.

Hulsey was buried in the Bingham City Cemetery in an unmarked grave.

Now, thanks to hours of research, a headstone stands in the cemetery to memorialize Deputy Hulsey's life and sacrifice.
