SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utah Food Bank got a big assist from Utah Jazz players Wednesday.
The players teamed up with the Best Buddies of Utah to help out at the food bank.
"We're just trying to help out, pack up some food for some kids that need food, some families that need food," Carlos Boozer said.
The Jazzmen say helping the needy is a good thing and they urge all Utahns to get involved with a charity, especially with the holidays just around the corner.
The players also gave out free tickets to Thursday night's game to those who dropped off a bag or more of food.
