(KSL News) -- The search is underway for a suspect who led police on a high-speed chase from Davis County into Salt Lake County.
Video from Chopper Five shows the pickup truck that was involved in the chase. It was abandoned in Salt Lake City near 12th north and Morton Drive.
The driver was gone by the time police arrived, and a search of the area is underway.
The chase started after an apparent carjacking in Layton. The chase reached speeds of 100-miles per hour.
Police say they know the identity of the suspect.
