SOUTH JORDAN -- Police in South Jordan are looking for the vandals who threw rocks with hate messages at LDS church windows.

Police say five churches in Daybreak and Riverton were vandalized Saturday night. In all cases, a rock with a note that read "stop spreading your lies, pagans" was thrown at glass doors and windows.
"It clearly qualifies for some sort of hate crime," said Salt Lake County Sheriff's Lt. Don Hutson. "It certainly goes beyond your standard vandalism, where somebody's throwing a rock at an arbitrary window. The church was targeted in this particular circumstance."
Investigators don't have any suspects, but say they plan to turn the case over to the Joint Terrorism Task Force.
