SANDY -- Nebo School District's superintendent received special recognition Monday. Chris Sorensen was named Superintendent of the Year for 2010.
Sorensen was honored during the Utah School Superintendents Association meeting Monday. He was recognized for his work in overseeing the growth of Nebo School District in recent years.
Sorensen previously served as a teacher in Nebo School District, as well as a principal and director of elementary education.
