Greg Neft Reporting There is a new push to employ those who are disabled, not only to give them an opportunity, but also ease the tight job market.
This was all part of a new ad campaign unveiled today urging Utah employers to not "dis" the disability.
Gov. John Huntsman: "Just because they have a disability doesn't mean that we should disregard them."
He says the ads on radio and billboards will quash stereotypes about the disabled, especially when joblessness is at an all time low.
Gov. Huntsman: "We have 2-2.5 percent unemployment. We need all Utanns to help in building this economy."
Ken Duke, who works for CHS Healthcare and is blind says this will open doors.
Ken Duke: "There is just tons of abilities, tons of skills."
Duke says people who are disabled have lots to give.
