LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- The man who drowned at Tony Grove Lake near Logan has been identified.

Crews recovered the body of 19-year-old John Doucette, of Logan, on Thursday.

The Cache County sheriff's office says Doucette and a friend had tried to swim across the lake Wednesday but he had a problem and went under the water. Authorities say others tried to reach him but couldn't.

Doucette's friend made it to a canoe and witnesses called police.

Tony Grove Lake is about 15 miles northeast of Logan.
