LINDON -- An Orem teen was injured in a bike accident Sunday afternoon on the Lindon Heritage Trail in Lindon City Park, at 200 North State Street.

Juan De Dios Rojas, 14, was riding his bike with his sister on the trail while his family gathered at a nearby pavilion. He collided with a wall. He wasn't wearing a helmet and suffered traumatic head injuries.

Lindon City Police and Orem City Fire and Rescue crews responded and found the boy unconscious and unresponsive. They provided on-scene medical care for the boy who was then transported to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He was later transferred by Air ambulance to Primary Children's Hospital.

At last report he was listed in critical condition.
