BRIAN HEAD, Utah (AP) -- A Nevada man lost control of his motorcycle on the curve of a mountain highway and was run over and killed by another driver.

The Utah Highway Patrol says 52-year-old Joel Norman Macrae of Spring Creek, Nev., died Saturday on state Route 143 in Iron County near the ski town of Brian Head.

Troopers say Macrae was wearing a helmet.

The driver of the vehicle that ran over Macrae wasn't hurt, but troopers say a passenger in that vehicle complained of a shoulder injury.

Troopers were investigating Sunday whether speed or impairment might have been factors in the crash, but released no findings.
