SALT LAKE CITY -- More of Utah's high school seniors are passing their required Basic Skills Competency Test.
State education leaders say almost 82 percent of this year's public school graduates passed the test, a slight increase over last year, when 80.37 passed.
Of the three test sections --math, reading and writing-- administrators say math was the biggest obstacle for students unable to pass.
