CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) -- Slow down speeders. The Utah Highway Patrol is keeping a close eye on southwestern Utah during the long holiday weekend.
Sergeant Brian Bairett says they've summoned troopers from northern Utah to help monitor the increased traffic in Washington and Iron counties.
Bairett says the St. George and Cedar City areas have the bulk of the traffic. And when motorists see police, he says they tend to obey the law.
