NORTH SALT LAKE -- A car traveling twice the speed limit through a North Salt Lake neighborhood collided with a van this evening.
Witnesses told police officers they believe the driver was going 60 to 70 miles per hour right before the car blew through a stop sign near 1300 West.
The car hit a van on 600 North causing it to roll. The car then drove into the front yard of a home.
The two people in that car and one person in the van went to the hospital with serious injuries.
