HILL AIR FORCE BASE (AP) -- One of the oldest planes in the Air Force has made its final landing at Hill Air Force Base.
The KC-135E is a tanker that can refuel other planes while flying. The model has been in service since 1957, but newer versions are much more efficient, so the KC-135E is grounded.
Hill officials say the last of the model landed for the final time at the base on Thursday. It will be put on display at the base museum.
