(KSL News) A man is in jail this morning after he led police on a high speed chase through Davis County.
A police officer tried to make a routine traffic stop, but the suspect refused and sped off. He ran a stop sign and eventually crashed into a tree in Syracuse.
He got out of the car and took off through nearby neighborhoods.
Police called in the chopper to help look for him. But a neighbor's tip led to the suspect's arrest.
The man will face several charges.
