SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Police Department is asking for help to identify two car prowlers possibly involved with several vehicle burglary cases on three different occasions.
Detectives believe the two men were involved in at least 10 car prowls between April 30 and May 6 in the area between 100 South to 500 South and 1000 East to 1100 East.
"Same area, same circumstances, same car, same witnesses," said Salt Lake City police Detective Dennis McGowan.

Police were able to obtain surveillance video and are hoping someone can help them identify the men.
The suspects may have been driving a green, 4-door Honda Accord or Saturn.
Anyone with information about the identities or whereabouts of these individuals is asked to call 801-799-INFO (4636). Callers may remain anonymous. Please reference case number 09-78894.
Meanwhile, McGowan says car burglaries are on the rise. Part of that may be due to warmer weather, but he says many of the burglaries are crimes of opportunity, and people are giving would-be burglars plenty of that.
To protect yourself against burglars, follow the basics:
- Lock your car doors.
- Keep all valuables out of plain sight
