(KSL News) Eagle Mountain will soon have a new mayor.
The City Council will choose from 17 applicants during a special session tonight.
The new mayor will replace former mayor Brian Olsen, who resigned last month amid allegations he falsified travel expense forms.
Olsen is charged with seven felony counts of misuse of public funds.
The appointee will be the city's 10th Mayor in 10 years.
