SALT LAKE CITY -- UDOT has closed the westbound on-ramp to Interstate 80 at State Street until late summer 2009.
The ramp closed at 9 a.m. Monday to allow crews to reconstruct the ramp and tie the interstate in at State Street.
The eastbound ramp was already closed and will also remain closed until the late summer.
Motorists may use the 700 East westbound on-ramp, the 2100 South interchange or the 3300 South interchange to access interstate 15 or S.R. 201.
At 700 East, the eastbound on-ramp is closed through early fall 2009. The eastbound off-ramp is closed through summer 2009.
The loop ramp at 1300 East is closed through summer 2009.
