OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- An investigation into a matter involving Odgen's police chief and mayor is expected to be released today.
The probe looks at whether a suspended officer was rightfully relieved of duty. It's the result of action taken by Ogden Police Chief Jon Greiner and Mayor Matthew Godfrey.
Odgen police officer Matthew Jones was put on leave after his wife was seen driving a van displaying signs critical of Godfrey.
Jones was identified after Greiner asked Godfrey for the license plate number of the van. Jones has been on paid administrative leave for more than two months.
