(KSL News) A man critically injured in a car accident in Box Elder County this weekend has died.

The Utah Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Joshua Discuillo of Layton got out of his vehicle to inspect the damage sustained when he and another driver collided on Interstate 15 on Saturday. As the two drivers were discussing the crash, a third vehicle lost control and slid into them.

Both males were hurt, but Discuillo sustained more serious injuries when he became pinned between his vehicle and the vehicle that hit him.

Discuillo was transported to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries the following day.
