(KSL News) A Utah man's Valentine surprise was nearly spoiled this week when thieves got away with the diamond necklace he bought for his wife.
Matt Noyes said, "I went home and left the jewelry in the car, and it got taken, and I was very upset. My heart was broken."
Noyes bought his wife the necklace because the diamond is the birthstone of their first baby, which will be born in April.

So when it got stolen he put in a desperate call to Morgan Jewelers, the store he bought it from.
President of Morgan Jewelers Nate Morgan said, "He gave us a call and said, ‘You're not liable but could you help us out?'"
Morgan personally returned the call and invited Noyes back to the store to choose a replacement.
