(KSL News) Valentine's Day is all about showing love, and the Utah Food Bank is hoping sweethearts across the state will have a little extra love to share.
The Food Bank is holding its annual "Alliance for Unity" food drive at Smith's grocery stores all across Utah today.
Executive Director of the Utah Food Bank Jim Pugh said, "Being Valentine's Day, it's a day to give back, to give to your loved ones. While you're out doing some shopping or picking up things for them, we encourage you to drop off a bag and help make a difference for families and people all throughout the state who need a little extra help this year."

The food bank is especially in need of high-protein items like peanut butter and tuna.
If you didn't get a chance to donate today, you can still drop donations off at the Utah Food Bank Services building at 1025 S. 700 West.
