(KSL News) Utah Sen. Bob Bennett, who said it was inevitable for Tom Daschle to drop his bid for an administration position because of tax problems, seems to have tax problems of his own.

Bennett said Daschle couldn't have functioned effectively because he had to pay $140,000 in back taxes. However, the Salt Lake Tribune reports Bennett had also some tax issues.

Back in 2005, the Tribune says Bennett and his partners had to pay $320,000 in back taxes that had accumulated over four years time. They also had $140,000 in tax liens.
