Organizers say practice makes perfect and the kids won't be as scared if they know what to do and know they will be taken care of.

Janalee Boam, Emergency Preparedness Specialist: "I hope that all the parents understand that the reason that we're here is it makes sure that their kids are safe and protected in the case of an emergency, until we can reunite them with their parents."

In case of an earthquake, the students would be housed at a nearby LDS Stake Center for up to 72 hours. If school is not in session, the kids were told they can still go there and be safe.
