NORTH OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- Weber County prosecutors have filed a murder charge against a man arrested at bus stop nine hours after his girlfriend was found dead.
Johnny Maurice Bell, Jr., was charged Tuesday in 2nd District Court. The 21-year-old is also charged with one count of third-degree felony domestic violence in the presence of a child.
Brittany Nichols was found dead Sunday in her North Ogden home by her father.
An autopsy found that the 23-year-old Nichols died from multiple stab wounds.
Police say Bell and Nichols had lived together for four months, but that Nichols had ended the relationship on Sunday.
Bell is scheduled to make an initial court appearance Wednesday.
It's unclear if he has an attorney.
