Utes arrive in New Orleans, Whittingham gets new contract

(KSL News) The Utes are six days away from the Sugar Bowl with Alabama, and KSL has learned that Utah Head Coach Kyle Whittingham has earned a huge new contract.

According to our sources, Whittingham will receive a five year deal worth around $1.2 million a year.

The Utes arrived in New Orleans this morning, along with Aggie Head Coach Gary Anderson. They were welcomed by a jazz band. The coaches and players relaxed today, did a couple of interview sessions. They resume practice tomorrow.
