WEIGHT ROOM — We've all been there: Someone tells you "good luck" or "enjoy the movie," and you say, "you too," even though that person will not be participating in said event.
New Portland State University president Ann Cudd took the social mishap literally in a new hype video for the PSU football team, posted by Sport Oregon this week.
The final piece of @psuviksFB's No. 1-ranked recruiting class debuts this week against Eastern Washington: New @Portland_State President Ann Cudd. 😤 #GoViks | #DefendTheShippic.twitter.com/T0k2haLFTj

In the video, Cudd runs into a player and tells him, "Good luck against Eastern," to which the player responds, "You too."
The video then cuts to a surreal montage of Cudd participating in various football activities as a member of the team — from a deadlift to putting on pads and a helmet and running onto the field with the Vikings.
The video went viral, with the NFL's official account even posting a screenshot of the deadlift, saying, "Office hours hit different with President Cudd 😂."
