OGDEN — Police arrested a man who they say was involved in two hit-and-runs in Ogden late Thursday.

Officers responded to a hit-and-run at 23rd Street and Washington Boulevard about 11 p.m. only to find the vehicle was gone, according to Ogden Police Lt. Will Farr. He said they were dispatched to another hit-and-run at 500 Park Blvd. later and arrived to find it was the same vehicle involved in the first incident.

The suspect got out of his car and ran into the Ogden River when police arrived, Farr said. Police located the man and took him to the hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators say the man seemed to be intoxicated, but the incidents are still under investigation.
