ST. GEORGE — Police are looking for a man who allegedly groped a student on the campus of Utah Tech University and approached at least two other women.
On Saturday, near Hurst Field, a woman reported being inappropriately touched by a man who walked up to her, according to a statement from the university.
"The unknown male also engaged two additional female students on campus in a conversation and acted in a suspicious manner," the school stated.
Surveillance photos of the man were released. Administrators are encouraging anyone who sees him to call 911 or police dispatch at 435-627-4300. The Utah Tech Police Department is also increasing patrols in the area.
The school is offering safety reminders to students such as travel in groups when possible, especially during late hours; stay on well-lit paths; utilize campus security escorts or shuttle services; and be aware of your surroundings.
