PRICE — A 26-year-old man was killed in a crash in Price on Wednesday night, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
The man was traveling south on state Route 55 in a Toyota Camry around 9:51 p.m. on Wednesday and failed to stop at a red light, troopers said. The Camry was struck by an eastbound Freightliner semitruck at the intersection of state Route 55 and 100 North.
The driver of the Camry died at the scene after lifesaving measures were attempted.
The truck driver and a passenger who was in the sleeper berth both received minor injuries.
Investigators say impairment is being considered as a possible contributor in the crash, but did not release more information.
