CHICO, California — If you're like me, the thought of having to interact with a real estate agent is incredibly stressful and anxiety-inducing, especially with the state of housing in Utah right now. But one group of agents from North Valley Group in Chico, California, and their hilarious, relatable videos about co-worker interactions, funny challenges and everyday occurrences, reminds me they're not all bad.
Ever had an interesting experience with one of your co-workers in the break room? This video depicts the wide range of effort people put into their lunches at work, and why many people opt to eat at their desk instead of in the break room.
One worker simply puts ramen in a bowl, fills it with hot broth to cook his noodles and proceeds to eat his cheap, minimal-effort lunch.
Meanwhile, his co-worker pulls out a cutting board, starts chopping up fresh veggies, fires up a mini cooking stove and places a live chicken on the table. In the next few shots, a cooked chicken is seen ready in a pot and the worker shreds some chicken pieces into the salad he has made and eats his completed meal.
The first worker keeps glancing over at the ensuing scene, seemingly more and more uncomfortable — especially as the live chicken is brought out — as he sheepishly eats his ramen.
Although this video is just a joke and I don't think anyone has ever brought a live chicken to cook for lunch at work, I think everyone can laugh at the differences in people's efforts toward mealtime while at the office.
I would say I am more of a ramen eater rather than chopping up fresh veggies in the break room, but to each their own. I'm always impressed by those who put extra effort in, and hey, at least he cleaned up after cooking his five-star meal.
Assuming this video came from a meme page, I didn't believe it when I saw that this hilarious video was from a real estate company. But if you're looking for a laugh, you can check out any meme page or you might want to give North Valley Group's Instagram a try.
