BALLIN' IN THE LIVING ROOM — Former BYU basketball star Elijah Bryant has already been to the height of the sport on two continents.

The 27-year-old hooper was a member of the Milwaukee Bucks' 2021 NBA championship winning squad (alongside teammate and former Utah State rival Sam Merrill), then turned around and won a Euroleague title a few months later with Turkish side Anadolu Efes.

But could another member of the Bryant family be following in his championship pedigree?

Bryant has been tracking himself teaching his toddler son, Blu, to play basketball on the family's mini-hoop at home for a while on his TikTok page; and basketball-focused livestreaming platform Overtime recently compiled dad's lessons into one video that has already caught the attention of thousands of basketball fans around the world.

Bryant is clearly trying to install his son's form at a young age, such as the wrist-flick that all basketball shot-makers have to learn whenever they pick up the game, while his wife, Jenelle, cooks dinner in the background.

Family has always been important to Bryant, who attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints "off-and-on" when he was young, according to the Church News. A native of Gwinnett County, Georgia, Bryant transferred to BYU after a breakout freshman season at Elon University in North Carolina, and went on to total 905 career points, 305 rebounds and 132 assists on 47% shooting in two seasons with the Cougars from 2016-18 before turning professional.

"Faith, family and health are the three words written on my journal," Bryant told the Church News after the Bucks' championship season. "Those are the three pillars I try to focus on. They are the three things I need to be most grateful for. Those are the things that keep me grounded. Regardless of if I ever play another NBA game or win another NBA championship, I'm blessed because I have a great family, my faith and my health."

Bryant has clearly loved his role as a father as much as his occupation playing ball, taking Blu to workouts on the beach, stretches every morning, and playing full-time Dad while he gives Mom a break.

But could another Bryant find his way to the BYU basketball program? The team's official Twitter account cheekily reminded the basketball star to keep in touch about Blu's future recruitment after the video went viral.
