That's a great question! You're a human, after all, and it's highly unlikely that the same things that might attract you to a particular spinner would also attract a fish.
Think about it — you're trying to catch a fish that eats bugs, salamanders or some other type of aquatic critters you would never eat. You don't share much in common with your quarry, so you shouldn't trust your instinct when it comes to lure selection.
