THE NAIL SALON — Imagine this.

You've set aside time for some self-care, and you walk into the nail salon. You're expecting a really relaxing manicure, but all of the sudden another customer just starts screaming at the top of their lungs.

It's probably not very relaxing anymore.

This must be the scene at every dog grooming salon when a pug is set down to get its nails clipped. They might be a small breed of dog, but their screams really pack a punch.

Watching this video instantly sent me back in time to 2013 when everyone was watching the Taylor Swift "Trouble (Goat Remix)." Now we can swap the screaming goat with this screaming pug. We could even start putting together a whole choir of screaming animals! Coming to a concert hall near you: "Screaming Animals Live!"

The most shocking thing about these screaming animals is that they sound just like humans. If you weren't watching the video and seeing the pug scream, you could definitely mistake it for a human scream. It must be the nature of all living things to express our terror or dislike through very loud, high-pitched noises.

For your sake, I hope there are no pugs at the salon the next time you attend.
