SALT LAKE CITY — The annual running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, attracts people from all over the world.

I'm not sure why you'd want to purposely get into an enclosed space with angry bulls that want nothing more than to plow you down — something like 50 to 100 people are injured each year — but each July, people try to outrun the bulls.

Unless I'm missing something, you can't accidentally get thrown into the running of the bulls. But what about at the ballpark?

Apparently a bull can still get you during a mascot race on the baseball field.

In a tried and true event common to most ballparks in America, children race with a couple mascots on the warning track around the field during a break in the action. All is going well until the bull mascot comes into view.

The bull seems to accelerate right as he's passing a kid, who falls to the ground after being hip checked from the passing bull. Fortunately, the mascot behind the kid manages to jump over the kid as he falls. That could have been a bad situation.

The kid was slow to get up as some of the workers jump to his aide, but he manages to get up and jog off after a second.

Let it be a lesson kids: Never trust a bull, even if it looks like fun.
