1. Amber Alert canceled: 2 children abducted in Carbon County located in Nevada
An Amber Alert issued Friday morning for two children believed to be abducted by the father of one of the boys was canceled early Saturday, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety.
2. Woman dead after head-on crash on 9400 South in Sandy
A 28-year-old woman died following a head-on collision in Sandy on Sunday that forced the closure of eastbound traffic on 9400 South for hours. The 28-year-old woman was driving an eastbound vehicle when a westbound vehicle crossed into her lane near 1700 East and collided with her head-on, Sandy Police Sgt. Clay Swensen said.
3. 22 dead, many missing after 17 inches of rain in Tennessee
At least 22 people were killed and rescue crews searched desperately Sunday amid shattered homes and tangled debris for dozens of people still missing after record-breaking rain sent floodwaters surging through Middle Tennessee.
