TAYLORSVILLE — Police have identified a 22-month-old twin who died after being hit by a car in Taylorsville on Tuesday.
Hadley Marroquin died near 5095 S. 3200 West about 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to Unified police.
A car slammed on its brakes nearby to avoid hitting a dog, but another vehicle hit the car. The impact spun the car onto the sidewalk, where it hit Hadley’s mother and her two daughters.
Hadley was pronounced dead at the scene. The other twin and their mother suffered critical injuries.
The 42-year-old mother checked herself out of the hospital Wednesday in order to be with her daughter, who was still in critical condition at Primary Children’s Hospital, police said.
A GoFundMe* page has been set up to assist the girl's surviving family members.
